About Me

My photo
Hello there from sunny Nth Qld in Australia...the luckiest country on the planet AT THE MOMENT! I'm retired and recently widowed. I love to travel . Airplane, boat, walking but mostly by means of my motorcycle. I love to garden too. I have a wee small doggie named George and an old cat named Kitty. Two years on from Tim passing we three have almost sorted out living without him. I think it will be 'almost' forever more. Can't see me being over it completely if you know what I mean. I intend to fill these blogs with my journey on my bike.Too much has happened in the space between today and my last blog. This is my last ditch effort to revive my creative writing skills.

Proof that we are a different species....

The thought came to me this morning as I was wondering what I am going to wear to my daughter-in-law to be 'hens' party on Saturday night, why did it get called a 'Hens' and 'Bucks' night out?
Should it have been a Hens and Cocks or a Doe and Bucks night? Proof I say that we are indeed a totally different species to support the theory that we (men and women) are indeed from different planets! So girls...keep your eyes open , be alert...aliens disguised as men sent to takeover our lives and wind us around/up/over their little fingers for their own selfish purposes! Ha the laugh is on them hey girls as we turn the tables and show them our GIRL POWER!

"God Don't Make No Mistakes"

Bull dust he don't! Like my hair for instance. I was supposed to born with red hair and I ended up with what I did...left overs. Oh don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the waves and the strength and the amount but wouldn't you think if he's gone to all the trouble to cover those and make sure my mother had red hair that I would have it too? Thank God for Mark thats all I can say...
